Our Property Management 50 judges are highly respected and well known in the industry- in fact they are all winners of the 2022 Property Management 50.
These three are legends in their own right for the work they are doing to raise standards in their respective areas and we are delighted that they are involved in the process of choosing our Property Management 50 for 2023.
Without further ado, we would like to introduce our 2023 judges:
James Farrar is a highly accomplished professional in the field of property management and is widely recognised for his expertise in block management. With an unwavering commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the industry, James has made a significant impact as a leader.
As one of the founding Directors of JFM Block Management, James has built a reputation for providing exceptional services to residential Leasehold. His passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and his meticulous attention to detail have made JFM Block Management a trusted name in the industry.
Beyond his professional achievements, James is known for his strong ethical values. He actively participates in industry associations, sharing his knowledge and insights to promote best practices and drive positive change. James believes in fostering long-term relationships built on trust, and his dedication to exceptional service has earned him the respect and loyalty of both clients and colleagues.
Katie Mayhew is a dynamic professional with a strong background in block management. Katie is poised to make a significant impact as she joins the team at FirstPort after the acquisition of DJC, where she served as a Team Leader.
Katie possesses a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in block management, along with a comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects that drive operational efficiency. Her expertise enables her to navigate complex challenges, streamline processes, and implement innovative solutions that enhance the leasehold experience for residents.
Driven by a genuine desire to see people working in block management enjoy leasehold again, Katie brings a fantastic dynamic to our judging panel.
Nathan is an Associate Director at Navana Property Group, responsible for the day to day operational oversight of the property management team, as well as for embedding H&S, compliance, and governance across the group.
Having spent 25 years in the industry, Nathan has gained extensive knowledge and expertise of all facets of the sector. Having worked client side, agency side and running his own consultancy practice there isn’t much that he hasn’t seen. Nathan has been fortunate to manage some of the UK’s best-known developments.
Outside of traditional leasehold and estate management, Nathan is also an RICS Registered Valuer, specialising in lease extension and enfranchisement. Nathan also sits on the Leasehold and Commonhold Expert Group at The Property Institute and is regularly found engaging in open discussion on current sector challenges and proposed reform. Nathan has recently gone back to school to study for a Level 6 Diploma in Building Safety Management!
Jamie is the owner of Future Group, one of the UK’s most respected and innovative suppliers to the block management sector. Led by Jamie the group have won Supplier of the Year by the Association of Residential Managing Agents in 2017 and received ARMA’s award for exceptional Customer Service in 2018 and again in 2019 for “Unsung Hero’s” and then “ARMA Partner of the Year 2022”.
Jamie is forward thinking and well respected across the sector. Supporting Block Managers reduce their carbon footprint of the blocks they manage as well as bring financial savings.
