Our Property Management 50 judges are highly respected and well known in the industry- in fact they are all winners of the 2021 Property Management 50.
These five are legends in their own right for the work they are doing to raise standards in their respective areas and we are delighted that they are involved in the process of choosing our Property Management 50 for 2022.
Without further ado, we would like to introduce our 2022 judges:
A proud winner in the 2021 property manager category with over 12 years of experience in the leasehold and freehold industry. Lewis has a vast range of expertise across all property and asset management sections, having represented clients from national freeholders to local RTM companies. What drives him the most is customer experience and providing education to all so our industry can stride forward in a constantly evolving and demanding world.
As a Director and Co-founder of Transparent Property Management Lewis has had the opportunity to implement this ideology and ethos not only to whom they represent but also to members of staff. These people really are the heroes and front line who must deal with the incredible responsibility bestowed upon them.
Overdue and essential changes are coming to our sector, and I truly strive to be someone who helps it move to a better place.
Jodie Fraser is the managing director of Fraser Allen Estate Management and specialises in managing residential blocks for private landlords.
She started in the industry 15 years ago and learned her sector inside and out. After some time, she felt she could offer a more caring service for landlords and tenants by creating her own company where there was always respect for the homes of others.
She took the plunge in 2016 and her business and her team has grown now managing blocks in Bristol, Swindon, Cheltenham, London and the Midlands.
Her company, and Jodie, have won multiple awards including being named in the PM50 Property Management category in 2020 and her company scooped the Pandemic Response Award last year (News on the Block). She’s also been named as one of the 42 Under 42 to watch by South West Business Insider (2021).
Executive Chair, The Property Institute
Shelley Jacobs is a director of Michael Laurie Magar Ltd. and has worked in property management for nearly 20 years.
Shelley is also a Business Psychologist and a Cognitive Behavioural Coach who runs Resilience, Leadership and Time Management training courses on behalf of ARMA, and supports other property management businesses with a variety of people challenges impacting the workplace.
Shelley is passionate about helping the property management industry focus on improving Leadership, Wellbeing and effecting change and has published articles and delivered keynote speeches about these topics. Shelley supports women in business and in the property management sector and last year was recognised as a PM50 Legend.
Sowgol is the Managing Director of Way of Life, Long Harbour’s in-house management platform. Sowgol ensures that the company provides efficient building management and professional customer services through a multi-skilled team of people.
Prior to joining Long Harbour, Sowgol was the Director of Serviced Apartments at JLL where she oversaw operational activities and advised both residential and serviced apartment operators. She was previously the Director of Private Rent (Folio London) and Student Lets at the Notting Hill Housing Trust where she was leading three multi-disciplinary teams with over 2,000 properties and an operational budget of £25million
