Our 2020 Property Management 50 Judges:
Jonathan is a consultant with over 20 years’ property management experience. He works with managing agents and talented industry suppliers in marketing, business development, operations and finance capacities; providing valuable sector insight.
A fellow of the IRPM, an Associate of the RICS and Honorary Consultant to FoPRA, Jonathan is a well-rounded property management professional who is engrained within the industry. He has fulfilled two separate head of property management roles for Farrar/Principia and Savills, and, since starting his consultancy company in 2018, Jonathan works closely with a number of supplier favourites. Jonathan won an Influencer award in 2019’s PM50 and is looking forward to joining the judging panel this year.
Outside of work, Jonathan is a family man, a keen photographer, pianist and long-time follower of his beloved Watford FC.
Beth Lancaster began her property management career in Dubai in 1998 and became a Senior Property Manager with FirstPort in 2005. She’s MIRPM qualified and a won a Property Manager award in 2019’s PM50.
A customer recently testified that “Beth is regular as clockwork with monthly inspections, reports & actions, works with us on creating annual budgets and long term plans, sorts problems and gives feedback within 48 hours, and on top of that is a thoroughly nice person. The property management industry needs more Beth Lancasters committed to genuine real long-term client relationships.”
Matt Lewis is a Solicitor, Partner and Head of Residential Leasehold Property at Coles Miller in Bournemouth; a firm member of ALEP.
Also a member of IRPM, Matt is an Honorary Consultant for the FPRA. Determined to assist in raising standards in residential property management, Matt is a founding member/owner of Leasehold Management Professionals (LMP); providing training events for all managing agents along the south coast and the west.
Matt was the winner of a Rising Star award in 2019’s PM50 and was Highly Commended within the Young Professional of the Year category at last year’s ERMAs.
Colin Stokes is an ex block manager who, 11 years ago, founded Adiuvo to provide specialist out of hours support for the property sector. Adiuvo are currently responsible for almost 600,000 properties throughout the UK and Ireland and have this year launched in the USA.
Colin is a proponent of Proptech which culminated in an investment in the subsequently Google backed AI property platform AskPorter and last year started F%ur- an outsourced lettings management facility.
As a winner of a Supplier award in last year’s PM50, Colin is delighted to be back this year as a judge.
Brett qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1994 and has always been involved in residential property management and associated leasehold matters (including enfranchisement and lease extension valuations) as well as having wider general practice surveying experience.
Brett was Chairman of ARMA for three years until 2010, having been involved in other committees within ARMA since 1999. Brett also sat on the RICS Residential Management Working Group for the maximum term of office. Prior to that, he had been involved in the RICS locally and was Chairman of the Junior Organisation in the West Midlands for the millennium year.
Having led CPBigwood’s residential management department until its sale in 2015, Brett took a break before setting up Principle Estate Management in June 2018 with fellow Director, Joe Jobson. Principle manages 6,000 units across the country for freeholders, developers and RMC’s.
Brett won a coveted Legends award at last year’s PM50 and is excited to be on the judging panel for 2020.
